For the purposes of this Web site, we have used the TAFE training kitchen to display specific items that would be used in a large commercial kitchen, as the equipment could be clearly and easily photographed.

Information about the Hotel Kitchen

In a commercial hotel kitchen the equipment and the work areas are on a larger scale than in your kitchen at home.  Kitchen layout must be planned to allow for the efficient and systematic flow of foods, into and out of the kitchen.  There are large amounts of food being stored prepared and cooked in the kitchen for the many food outlets found in the Hotel.  The menu will determine what equipment is required.
